lost command line

Either, as far as I know R14 the number of lines in Command window MUST AND CAN BE 1 to 100, try this:
Go to Tools menu > Preferences
Open Display tab and in section Text window parameters set the "Number of line of text to show in docked command line window" to desired number of lines 1-3 (2 is quite OK of you are experienced)
Otherwise, reinstall will help anyway!
