I am looking for a resource (either a book or continuing education) to help me understand how to analyze the hydraulic profile through a wastewater treatment plant. I have done this type of analysis before but I am trying to get more confidence and accuracy in my results. Treatment plants have lots of items to analyze such as dead flat channels or channels that change direction and shape which are beyond the scope of the basic textbooks that I have. Are there any other resources out there or do I just need to use my brain?

The ASCE "Design of Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants" Chapter 5 has a good discussion.
