Hello all. I'm looking for a manufacturer of pressurized welded metal bellows accumulators (WMBA). A few years back I had found a company on the internet that had a catalog of stock WMBA's with different fluid capacities and precharge pressures. I can not locate it online anymore. Does anyone know of any such companies? I know there are companies out there that can custom make such accumulators, but I want the best solution...just cheaply, the closer to off the shelf the better.

More specifically, fluid displaced = 26in^3, precharge pressure = ?(VERY FLEXIBLE ON THIS)

Thanks.

Have you tried Google with "metal bellows"?
Plenty of hits.

I've tried metal bellows in a google search (Amongst many, many, other combinations) but the same few companies show up and they are the custom manufacturers. I know there was a company out there before that had catalog items, maybe i'll try some other search engines. Seems lately that google really likes to post patent information (which is relatively useless).

Check Pipingtech.com. The sell bellows for expansion joints but may not sell what you need.

From my standpoint (aerospace) there are only a few metal bellows suppliers. So your usage is more along the industrial use?

Our product line is split between the aerospace and civilian/industrial. We've used the custom metal bellows houses before with great success, however the costs involved with these houses exceed my limits on this civil job. I want metal bellows for the infinite life they provide as well as hermeticity, but have a lot of design space to fit in an unoptimized accumulator chosen "off the shelf".

I really wish I would have documented that companies name....

Monkeydog: what suppliers have you used? we've used belfab with lots of success.

I have used Senior Metal Bellows which has been bought and rebought several times. They have done good for me.
There are others I am aware of but do not have direct involvement, so cannot say first hand. But I can say, Flexible Metal Bellows, and Kinemotive Corp has aerospace experience.
