Looking for a good anti-static resin

Can any one tell me a good anti static resin for platics. Im looking to make pipette tips for a medical machine i just need some tips on a good resin. We are having problems with the current tips we use.

There are now inherently conductive resins available, but I do not know the source for sure, maybe Basell has something from memory.

Many polymers can be made reasonably conductive by the addition of a special SS fibre.

Speciality compounders like LNP, DSM, RTP, and Duromer can produce these compounds for you.

There are plenty of anti-static grades available as that ids a common requirement. I will assume you mean to use polyethylene or polypropylene as I believe those are standard for pipette tips. In that case you can get an anti-static grade as Pat said by contacting Basell or Borealis for example. Alternatively it is possible to add an anti-static concentrate to the PE or PP you currently use. Be careful though as some anti-statics are low molecular weight and will tend to diffuse out of the tip and contaminate the sample you are trying to dose. A good supplier can advise you. The Plastics Additives Handbook edited by Hans Zweifel lists several anti-statics along with information on who supplies them.
