Hi everybody,

I am new to this forum and I hope I would learn and share as mush as possible.
I have a question about local convection coefficient in circular tube (internal flow of incompressible fluid and forced convection).
Let's say that I know the velocity and the temperature of the fluid and the diameter and temperature of the tube surface, Can I determine the local (not overal) convection coefficient with what I have or I still need some other details?

I will be happy to share more details if needed.
Thank you in advance

Change this post to the Heat Transfer & Thermodynamics engineering fórum, but if you know also the fluid data as density, viscosity and specific heat, the response to your question, is yes.
