Loading of Carbon Steel Angle 1

I'm trying to find load capacity information for structural steel angle. Been searching the web for 20 minutes, and can't seem to find anything. Can someone point me in the right direction?

What kind of loading, axial, bending or torsion moment, etc.? Tables do exist but you must use with caution. Everything needed s not necessarily considered in a particular table.

Have you tried AISC? They have their Specification for Load and Resistance Factor Design of Single-Angle Members. They also have the allowable stress design version. I don't know if they publish it independently of the Manual of Steel Construction, however.

If you happen to be based in the UK, or using BS5950 for fun, try these links below.

I have never come across bending and torsion tables, because angles are not symmetric about x-x, y-y it makes there capacities more difficult to calculate. Not to mention they are awful under that type of loading.

I appreciate the input. I'm looking for something rather simple, if it exists. My use of angle steel is to span between bar joists, as a beam, to support HVAC equipment. A chart that showed me maximum loading, point and uniform, for a certain size angle beam would be great.

Not knowing actual load capacities, I usually oversize to be safe. But it would be good to have actual numbers.
