Hello everybody,

Me and my college are 2 students that are doing a trainee at a LNG plant. The maintenance manager wants to know if there is a product or a way to repair a leak in for instance a inspection hatch when the plant is still at the temperature of -163C. So some sort of paste or wrap or anything that can handle the low temperature and a pressure of about 25 Bar. There has to be a possibility to open up the hatch afterwards (like once a year) but even a product that can delay the leak to plan a repair for when there is a ship loading is fine.

This because performing a repair forces the plant to warm up to environment temperature and that takes days.

Do you guys have any solution for quick leak repair in the cryogenic world? Thank you!

(sorry for my English... its not my mother language)
