what does full wave simulation mean if suppose you consider a Low Noise Amplifier? Also, i just graduated and wanted to know if any one of you knows of any opening for entry level engineers. Also I am not a citizen.

Sorry, it was late. I should not have posted. I have been out of this field for some time, but as I remember it, you are correct. The large signal harmonic balance simulations are generally used to optimize the impedance matching on the high power stages. However what I was alluding to was that LNA's, when driven into compression may lose the specified linearity requirements. With all the CMDA type systems the linearity and dynamic ranges of all the components are subjects of the design space.

Many years ago, during the aerospace boom, an HP equipment salesmen who got around, told me that the average carrier span for a microwave engineer was 4-5 years. Attrition due to burn out, obsolescent or frequent program cancellations. I lasted a little longer, but, I guess I am one of those ex-microwaver's now. The mimics pretty much became my down fall.

I wish you good luck in your future endeavors as a microwave engineer.
