Hi. I wonder if you can tell me of controlling electronic devices over Low orbit satellites?
Say we need a relay satellite to transmit a control signal to a receiver device which will operate on this signal.
How about our options? Are there legally useable satellites for amateurs or commercial firms? Thank you for all your helps..

Iridium. Low bandwidth communications to/from anywhere on Earth (just about, due to legal sanctions on some countries) are their purpose. They offer advantages in low power consumption, very small antennas, and relatively inexpensive terminals. They just launched a new constellation that can offer higher (medium) bandwidth, but the legacy mode might be ideal. There are other options (e.g. Globalstar), but Iridium is the one to beat.

'NAL Research' is an example of a vendor offering Iridium terminals.

It's a commercial service, so it costs money for the monthly data plan.
