Hi

Has anyone come across this unit of Flow rate , Lm - 1 , we have a spec for 1 -5 Lm-1 for a flow rate but not sure what this is,and have an equation for converting it to L/min

thanks

Lm-1 = liters/minute.

Good luck,
Latexman

To a ChE, the glass is always full - 1/2 air and 1/2 water.

Someone is being a bit too scientific for their own good, but I would interpret this as litres per minute

Instead of l/min, they've gone the scientific notation which is l min-1 Only they haven't put the -1 in superscript....

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

Thats what i thought but thanks for clarifying :)

You "have an equation for converting it to L/min", so what is this equation?

Good luck,

Is it just me, I would say it's a nonsense as a flowrate, simple solution is ask who wrote the spec to clarify.
If you don't understand what it means how can you make any sense from it?

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)
