Dear all,

On site we have a dual fuel Gas turbine GE 9FA DLN2.0. The liquid fuel (diesel oil) firing has not be used except 24 hours during initial commissioning. We want to construct an unloading station to take diesel from the trucks and fill the diesel tank. My question is about the materials of the pump parts, impeller, casing, shaft, etc. My main concern is to select materials that of for a reason are touching each other it will not create a spark and be an ignition source.

If they are submerged in fuel there will not be any sparks, that takes air.
There are commercially available fuel service pumps, use google and find some.

P.E. Metallurgy, Plymouth Tube

Carbon steel pump is ok for fuel forwarding skid, it is what GE uses for it.
Dual fuel 9FA with DLN 2.0 and Mark VI... there are very few of those mostly in Middle East. We can help you.

saludos.

Why use a pump at all? Locate tank in lower level of building, and let gravity flow unload truck to tank.
