Linked body doesn't update

Hello,
I read the above thread about problems with updating linked bodies.
I have the same problem. Is there already a solution?

I have loaded the referenced part fully and turned off partial loading.

When I double click the linked body nx says it is updating the body but nothing happens. In the window that appears it says: status: out of date.

It is a pretty big model.

Have you checked the Wave link to make sure you have the correct prt file linked?

I'm still having this problem. Is this not a known problem by many users?
Even restarting everything doesn't help. I just can't update it. But I don't get any error and everything works fine.

Hi Michel,

Have you in your Load Options, Use Partial Loading On or Off?

Also you can do a foced update:
->Tools->Update->Update for External Change

Can you build a small example that shows the same behavior and post it here ?
You can use Partial Loading, but turn on the "Load interpart data". NX will then only load the necessary feature data for the links.

i am having the same kind of problem. i have an assembly that i am linking a couple of features to. whaen i make a change to the original file the linked bodies/faces do not update. i do have tools/update/interpart upart/delay geom and expressions off- this is the company standard to have swithed on. in the part navigator tab the linked features do not give me an out of date message or clock symbol.
what is interesting is i just had to move the original body and these features updated. the other thing is i have assoc. measurements on these linked bodies and they report out old values, they will update when i do the move.
running the ' update for external change' does fix this but it takes 10 minutes compared with moving the original.
