Hey all,

I've got a question, for a client I have to render an advertisment board, but I cannot find a way to make a surface emit light. Of course it is possible to use a point-light and place it in a closed box with one side transparent, but that lighting is not equal spread enough... Anyone who knows how to do it? We have the Advanced Rendering Extension here if necessairy.

Thank you all for helping out,

William

I don't think PTC wrote into the Mental Ray as AutoDesk Maya has done. It is my understanding that the typical engineer would not use these types of lights either. My 2 cents.

Get KeyShot, and call it good.

Bart - what's up?

Let me know when you're coming through Charlotte and we'll hit the trails.
