License Borrowing

I have two PTC license packs for Pro/E. One allows "license borrowing" and the other does not.


What is license borrowing? Why would I ever use the license pack that doesn't allow license borrowing?

If someone borrow the license it can not be used by other users as long af it is borrow.
If you would like to prevent users from borrow licenses you just use the pack without borrow option.

License borrowing is when you want to use Pro/E when away from the connection to the license server, eg taking a laptop to a customer.
