level 1 welding supervisor

we have a client that insists we must have a level 1 welding supervisor on staff for a large project we are quoting. I am familiar with all of the CWB codes most of the ASME codes, the ASNCT code etc. Does anyone know what code certifies a level 1 welding supervisor.
