Formerly, I could draw a leader line with text, with leader located at midheight of text, specify a text width, put the text in, no problem. Then I could grip edit the width of the text, and no problem. Now, with 2006, if I grip edit the text width, it messes up the leader line- shifts it up or down, or even makes a little loop. Any ideas?

Leader lines I normally use are 3- points, straight lines, with second line segment horizontal.

Discovered the problem is that the grip edit points can move the whole text up or down- if I hit ortho, then do the grip edit, it works okay- but takes a couple of extra mouse clicks to turn ortho on and off.

FYI,
The F8 key toggles ORTHO on and off.
