I am looking for a reference that I can use to callout a laserweld on a drawing. In the past I have used an arrow followed by LBW and numbered note that specifies depth and class of welds. The welding houses I work with hate this because of how they have to verify depth. However, when I ask how they would prefer the callout they never offer an alternative and say that the note on depth is "fine." So how do you callout laser welds on drawings?

It's been 5yrs for me, but when I needed to call it out, I did as you did kkeen. I never had an issue with it.
