I need help. I am getting a little consufesed. I can't seem to remember which is better for the 4000E. A 20MCC or a 15MCC.

Or maybe just the 2-6 part number. I can figure it out from there.

Pretty Sure it is a 15Mcc, at least ours is. Fanuc's Part Number is A98L-0003-0037, Amada's PN is 71198600, and we use Design Research's pn ERCCG-1531-0.9-99 (they are a lot cheaper, but not sure of the quality vs II-VI).

I have worked on other systems (old coherent S48+) where you use different internals of different concavity for higher power, but it requires curved folds as well. Not sure if Fanuc has that option.

I think if you call II-IV with the fanuc Part Number they could give you there info.

I just looked up output coupler we are getting ready to order. it is a 15Mcc Fanuc A98L-0003-0036, Amada 71398601, Design Research OCCCXZ-1532-40 and ii-v1 is 652030.
Amada $1250
Laser Experts $715
II-VI $625
Design Research $450

We are going II-VI this round, got a year out of the Design Research, but could never get steady performance at 4000 watts. Curious to see if better brand will fix that.
