Laminate thickness VS fiber and resin fraction

Hi everybody,

I am looking for a simple formula which gives the final laminate thickness in relation with fibre and resin volume fraction (assuming the void content is zero).

I made some simple calculations and here is a possible solution:

DATA : Ro_f (Density of fibre), Ro_m (density of resin)
wf (weight of fiber), Wf (fiber mass fraction),
Wm (resin mass fraction), A (area of laminate)

Thickness of composite (no voids):

Tc=(wf/A)*{Wm/Ro_m*[Wm/(1-Wm)]-1/Rof}

This is the minimum thickness without voids.
