Jetcam for flat development

I was just looking into what is out there for blank development. Many useful tools at

Pro-Engineer with Sheetmetal module is one option which is very good. This gives true seamless integration starting from 3-D sheet metal design to flat componnet to NC file for your CNC machine. This solution is not useful for converting old 2-D files to flat. I did lot of research on this problem but could not find easy answer. Finally, went for Pro-E.
