Hello All

We want to create a website and CD-ROM which allows the user to view our product in 3d, (i.e you CAN view the product 360 deg. We currently use Inventor 8 to design our products.

Is there any way you can creat a interactive 3D model / redered image, which can be used in this way?

Thank you for your help

I am currently using a 3rd party software called streamline it has lots functionality and allows the customers not only to view but based on permissions given they can redline add comments.

There is a new .dwf viewer out...or soon to be out, for R9. Interactive, 3D orbit etc, mark up I believe. I don't think it will work with R8 but not sure.

The best, and cheapest option is to get the "save to .jpg and compliled XGL" macro from charles bliss's site. (plus TONS of other truely awesome tools and great links). The tools will be added to "tools menu" and be under a tab called "export file" and then choose .jpg for a potentially HIGH quality .jpg file or compiled XGL for a self executing 3D viewer. It will allow zoom, orbit, pan etc.

Try doing a google search on a program call "Parallel Graphics".
