I am trying to find information on ITI-SST relays. I imagine that SST might stand for solid state trip. I need to figure out what the ITI-SST does so I can recomend a replacement. Has any one heard of or worked with the ITI-SST? Does any one know where I can find information on the ITI-SST?

SST was (is) a designation for GE's Solid State Trip unit for the AKR power circuit breaker line. It could be that someone assumed that since ITI used to sell protective relaysis and ITI is now owned by GE, that unit was made by ITI, but that would not be true.

You might try calling Dave Johnson, the fouder of ITI. He now has his own company called Electro Magnetic Industries (EMI) in Clearwater Florida, right across the street from the old ITI building! I beleive he still makes all of the protective relays sold under the old ITI brand label under contract to GE, but most of those are being phased out in favor of whatever Multilin offers.
