The Errata has helped a lot, but there still appear to be a few issues ...
Section 3.11.2 Should the term “Fby” be replaced with “Fy” as indicated in ?
E.4.9.1 Equation E-7 has not been corrected as per the notes of the API Fall Refining Conference. The notes indicate that the right hand side of the equation should include the factor “K”, i.e. 2.5 * K * Q …
Also, should the term “I/Tc” be changed to “1/Tc”, consistent with the correction to E.7.2?
E.6.1.2.1 Should equation E-17 be: Xi = [ 0.5 – 0.094 * D/H ] * H ?
E.6.1.4 The term Nh is not defined in the Code. Is the definition proposed in correct?
V.7.2.1 Should the reference to 5.10.5.1 be 3.10.5.1?
V.7.3.2 Should the reference to 5.10.6.2 be 3.10.6.2?
V.8.1.2 According to the API Fall Refining Conference notes, “Ps” should be “Ps max”.
V.10.2.2 The equation referenced from V.7.3.5 appears to be incorrect. The “E1” terms should be “JEs” and “JEr” respectively.
V.10.2.4 At the bottom of part 11, “tavg” should be “ts min” in accordance with the API Fall Refining Conference notes.
V.10.2.14 According to the API Fall Refining Conference notes, the denominator of the Areqd equation should be “fc”, not “f”. Also the revision replaces the numeric value with “14,400”, whereas Section V.3.1 states this value does not have to be less than “15,000”.
