Isosurface from 2D Fig file

Hi
I have some 2D contour figure files and want to extract a 3D isosurface from it. When i use FV=isosurface(uu,75), it returns an error saying V must be a 3D array. I have changed uu so that it is uu(i,j,k) but it still returns he same error. any ideas?
