Isolated power systems

Hello friends, I wonder if there are guys here who have information about IEC standards of insulated power systems. How can a firm declare itself as complying with the requirements of IEC standarts ? Accredited labs for example? In european countries or in USA how a firm can prove that its ?solated panel equipment is up to the standarts? Does national standarts (they generally refer to some famous standarts like IEC NEC etc..)be enough ? Or these countries always want approval documents taken from a famous lab to see that they suit to the say IEC standarts? How can we check and be sure that a panel is up to the standarts.?
