ok after experimenting i can establish connections between boundry surfaces but not blend surfaces. the help doesnt mention this. 1 surface here is a blend, one boundry. they cant be connected (wf2 student/home version) thanks for your help.

I dont really understand what this model is trying to achieve.. could you give a bit more of an explaination at to what the problem is? I've no problem creating a tangent or curvature connection between these surfaces..

thanks for cheking it out james. ill do a re-install or talk with
jouney ed. i have no problems with boundry surfaces. fyi - the error is
"cross curves not connected with same curvature" or whatever. i gather
for you that doesnt show up.

as far as the part, (top of a cowling) the C.0.S. will have a similar
C.O.S. on the bottom half (they both need to have the same profile in
the top view, hence they need to be projected onto the same surface).
anyway i'v tried a lot simpler scenarios with same result.

first image looks like you are using a three part boundary. Big novice no - no
