What do you mean by "name"? The shell elements that are used include all 6 degrees of freedom (translational and drilling dofs) in 3d space at their edge nodes. When the user chooses the "thin" option, the known Kirchhoff theory for slabs is considers, where as the program uses the Reissner–Mindlin theory if you select the "thick option".
