Is there any fabricator and structural engineer

I wanna know about which type of section or bars used in gate, grill by structural engineer or fabricator, that how they calculate how that section will be strong enough.
 
are you talking about bar grating like you see on city sidewalks? If so, it's per the manufacturer tables

That information is generally provided by the grating supplier, including load/deflection tables.
 
If I remember right, they just work off the theoretical moment of inertia and section modulus of the bars I think capacity is figured on 20,000 psi allowable stress (load tables should say).
Also note how they define their concentrated load, I think load on a 1' width.
 
chandan1998 please post a sketch related to your question - are you referring to determining how strong the gate section is?
