Recent articles show that EDS has put on sale the PLM.
What do you think is this a good or a bad thing for PLM.

In my opinion this is a good thing, since EDS is a services oriented company and does not deal very well with product based companies. The main difference is quarterly vs annual profits. Anyway, we probably will not notice a differnence... I mean hey, they've been through 5 name changes in as many years, so I wouldn't expect much. The only changes might occur if someone buys UGS, such as a possible competitor (Dassault?) or alliance partner (Oracle?), but I wouldn't count on it.
