Hi Frnds

I am trying to run the NX open programing environment using NX 6.0 and Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0.

I had coppied all the Vs files from NX folder to visual studio folder.
Created the Environmental veriable as MSVCDir.
Trid to run the Visual Studio through NX cammand prompt, using devenv.exe file.
The Environmental veraible was set correctly.
Even Visual Studio interface was also opening.
But the main problem is " NX Wizard is not created"
Can you give me any suggestions.

Is NX 6.0 is cpmpatible with VC 6.0???????????????

Regards
Jayesh

anybody else have any idea about this. Plz help

No it's not. From Uganswer: NX6 – 32/64-bit - require MSVS2005 (also known as V8.0) - with SP1.

NX5.0.6, NX6.0.5, NX7.5.5, NX8.0.0 -> NX8.0.3.4
NX8.5.0.23 -> NX8.5.2.3 & NX9.0.0.19

Thanks Anthony Sir for your valuable reply.
Will you explain me the reason? So I can discuss with my company's higher authority to install V 8.0 version.
Is any idea to overcome this problem. I am currently using MSVS 6.0.
And What is SP1?????
Instead of that will Manual Setting work?????

Plz Reply

Will you explain me the reason? NX6 would have been coded using Visual Studio 8.
Is any idea to overcome this problem. No.
And What is SP1????? SP1 is the Service Pack/Update for Visual Studio 2005 (also known as Visual Studio V8).
Instead of that will Manual Setting work????? No.

If we go for Visual Studio 2005,2008,2010,2012 or 2013; will it work????
