Hello,

I'm new to Ansys Mechanical. And it is a bit hard to find certain info for me.
Is it possible to see what cross section is used for beam element in Ansys Mechanical? Or not possible and I have to go back DesignModeler or SpaceClaim?

Select the line body then Details -> Properties.

Hello L_K,

Thank you for your answer. We can see there Area and moment of inertia.
And maybe you know if it is possible to see shape dimensions (Radius, Tube thickness, etc.) somewhere in Mechanical?

Yarko

I use SpaceClaim myself. It seems that you cannot define radius or tube thickness there. Just
area and IYY and IZZ.
