Is there a command/macro to offset lines in ANSYS? By OFFSET i mean the keypoints should move normal to lines to the specified distance. I know LGEN works for straight lines and circular arcs but what about other irregular curves? (Its cumbersome to find the centers of every segment and use LGEN)

Thanks,
Nodal.

If you are using ANSYS design modeler, there is an option to offset the entire geometry/lines/arcs etc.

Thanks bobby. But i using the classic ansys version 12 and i am looking for any commands/macros that can do the job.

Yes. But its not just moving in X or Y direction. the keypoints should move normal to original curve to a specified offset distance and the offset curve should pass through these points. (just like we offset lines in solidworks, autocad etc).
