Iron content in filter sand determination.

I am looking for a standard test for iron content in a sand material to be utilized for filtration in a water reservoir.

Did you try checking with your environmental testing company? - the ones that do the testing when you are doing environmental site audits during your geotech investigations. They should have a handle on the standard test used.
