It is possible to repair internally a thinned (due to erosion) nozzle by internal welding build up?
Are NBIC Part 3 or AMSE PCC-2 suitables for this application?
Thanks in advance

Code of Construction?
Materials?
Design pressure/temperature?
Location/jurisdiction?

Are you sure about internal weld build-up or are you really asking about internal wastage repair using an external weld build-up? In general terms with no specific information, yes. I would use NBIC Part 3 only because I am partial to the NBIC.[smile]

Again, an answer without the important info TGS4 noted as being needed.

ASME PCC-2 (2015) Article 2.15 clause 1.3 discusses your exact situation, so clearly it's permitted in general. However that doesn't mean it's permitted in your case. For instance, it would be common to weld build-up a P1 material, but some other P numbers would be much more difficult.
