Hi guys. I have two questions for you. I'm trying to do a calculation with abaqus. I imported an orphaned mesh from hypermesh.
I just can't find a guide that explains the interactions and properties of interactions. I was able to insert the contact with friction but I can not insert the contact between two bodies that must be sympathetic (welded).

How can I insert a welding link between two bodies? I'd like to make two parts welded.

Do you have a step-by-step guide to studying how to choose interactions and properties of interactions?
There are various parameters that I can choose and being a beginner I would like to understand well.

For welded connections we usually assume perfect bonding and thus use tie constraints. They are applied in a similar manner as contact pairs (you have to choose two surfaces) but there’s no need to define any property.
