I was wondering what is the installation process of an outrigger system. I know that if installed at early stage in construction, the shrinkage of the concrete can lead to additional stress in the outrigger. If installed too late, the building may be lacking of stiffness during the construction. So in practise, when are the outriggers usually installed ? Does it depend on the size of the building? And in the case of truss arms, are the outriggers formed in a work shop and then brought in site? Why is it said that it's complex to construct outriggers and it often leads to delays in the construction?
