I am trying to insert a microstation drawing into a Mathcad file. Can you guys/girls please give me some advice on how I should go about doing this.

THANKS

cut/paste usually works pretty well.

1. Go to Utilities>Image Capture & use the dialog to cut portion of the drawing as image. Save this image in file.

2. Open the image in some imaging software and cut it again.

3. Paste in Mathcad.

Phew! You have done it!!

Ciao.

You can simply highlight the Microstation elements, choose copy, and paste directly in MathCAD. I think the process described by flamby looks better though.

I have TriMetrix Axum and wanted to buy an update. It seems it was acquired by MathSoft. All I can find on MathSoft web site is MathCad. Is Axum still around? It supposedly did phase diagram 3-d plots beter than most packages.

Axum, as of last year, is no longer supported by Mathsoft
