inserting components in Compress 1

I have a vessel with upper shell and upper shell.
I wish to break it down to 15 cylinders of smaller size.
What is the fastest way of doing it without redesigning it?
I tried insert and it shows the insert after, but it doesn't insert when I select my shell.
Is there may be a split option?

I resolved the issue, the insert component works just fine. Could've been an issue with the dump file.
