Wath can i do to see image inserted as object in sw2003
cl

1) Start a new part
2) Start a new Sketch on a plane.
3) Click on the insert picture in the sketch tools toolbar (Not there by default)
4) Browse for Jpeg or image file & click OK
5) Then you can trace image or or do what you want.

My suggestion is to leave that Image in its own sketch. Then when you want to see it you can RMB the sketch and either Hide or Show it.

If the image is in a sketch with other Geometry then the picture is located under the sketch (in the tree). You can suppress and Unsuppress it with and RMB...but if the sketch is hidden, then so is the picture no matter what! The sketch must be shown before the picture is seen.
