Insert inch scale on cylinder

I have a cylinder(3/4"tube)and need to insert a scale 3ft to 5ft by .1 marks on tube.What will be the easy way. I production the scal will be silkscreened on tube.

'Easiest' way or uses the least amount of memory. You could wrap a decal, or extrude cut a pattern.
