Insert Curve into Drawing View

I am working in NX 8.5 and am trying to insert an ellipse into an existing view. Every time i try to insert a curve it never shows it in the view.

You have to first select the view, press MB3 and select the 'Active Sketch View' option. You can now insert any Sketch curve into that view.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
