Incrementing non-numeric cells?

Hi,

Say you have the text "T1" in a cell, how can you fill-down so that the cells below it auto increment to T2, T3, T4, etc

You could format the cells "T"0 using the custom option, and then just fill 1 to whatever.

What wrong with selecting the cell, place the cursor over the bottom right hand corner and drag down as far as necessary. This will increment them.

And if you like a menu option instead: select the range you want to fill, with the cell containing T1 as the first cell, then choose Edit/Fill/Series from the menu. Set Type to Autofill.
