inclusions in ASTM A182 F316 and ASTM A350 LF2 2

Is there a maximum permissable number of non-metallic inclusions in F316 stainless steel and LF2 carbon steel, used predominately in pressure vessel type applications and flanged components?
ASTM E45 defines the testing process for identifying inclusions but there is no maximum level of inclusions.

Neither specification provides limits on inclusions; furthermore E-45 is not a referenced specification for either specification.

This question has been asked before, although I don't remember any answers being provided. I assume this is because, as stanweld indicated, inclusion content is not a requirement of either ASTM standard. You should be able to obtain recommendations from producers of stainless steels like Carpenter, Allegheny Ludlum, J&L, etc. Maybe mcguire can give some estimates based on his considerable experience...
