I have 3 joints of a 36-inch CMP that are leaking. I need to seal these in-situ, from the inside. The pipe itself is of excellent quality and I need an inexpensive way to seal the joints themselves.

Are you aware of any way to seal these - perhaps there is an expanding neoprene band or similar?

If you know of a midwest supplier - I'd greatly appreciate it.

Try a google search for Miller Pipeline Corporation and check out their Weko seals.

Thanks for the info - it appears they do the installation as well - I was hoping to find somerhing that I could install myself - as I only need 2-3 of them.

I've got a brochure for another company but I don't know what their installation policy is. If you would like to check them out their website is at and they are out of Wisconsin.

Cretex seal. If they are a stainless band that has a rubeer seal on them, they work pretty good fairly easy to put in. Call the local wrinkled tin pipe supplier and ask. H. V. Johnson Culvert near Mpls. Mn has sold them to Mpls. a few times. I think the office is in Fargo, but there is a yard in Blaine.
