What exactly do you mean by "volume machining"?

If you are refering to automatic type operations such as Cavity mill, I believe the answer is No.

Cavity Milling is a fixed axis operation, although you can change the tool axis or in this case cut one area and transform the operation to rotate around the centerline and cut the remaining areas. See the attached file.

Hi John

Thanks for your valuable suggestion. I am very thankful to you. But while postin which one i need to select like 3axis mill or 4th axis mill.

What you given is that is XYZ will move. But I want keep "Y" stable and move the "A"(lV)th axis. I mean "A" axis want rotate along the tool. for this how to do.

When I post this file I wnat "A" axis values must come. So how to do this.

thx

Cavity Mill is a fixed axis operation. The tool axis and thus any 4th axis rotation does not work with cavity milling.

To answer your question. - No it is not possible to easily do 5 axis volume machining

Here is a part with variable contour operations that cuts the way you described. It is not volume machining but instead uses Stock and cut percentages to limit the area. I had to create multiple operations.
