I work for a manufacturer of water proof electrical accessories and would like to supply RCD’s with an IP68 rating to our product range.
(* Ingress protection - An international rating system which classifies the ability of an item of equipment to withstand ingress from either solid particles or liquids. Termed the "IP rating" )
The RCD device would have to be mounted in one of the following methods:
1. Non-wireable inline rated @IP 68 device that would be supplied with suitable cord so Bulgin could fit Buccaneer connector to either end.
2. RCD device that we would mount inside our own mouldings. So we would purchase PCB’s assemblies from Defond and assemble RCD in our own product. Therefore we would be responsible for the IP rating of the product.
I EAU figure is low 5000.
I look forward to your response.
Kind Regards
