I am trying to import a large number of points, with x-y-z coordinates. These points are all in a tab delimited file, with the point name first. Pro/E seems to only import x-y-z coordinates, and then give them generic names. Is it possible to have the point names imported as well as the coordinates in Wildfire 2.0?

HI

yes you can but you need to create those points and renamed them first using the offset coordinate datum points

<?:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /></v:stroke></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:ulas></v:path><?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></o:lock></v:shape></v:image></v:shape>

That is how I ended up doing it. I had over 200 points and had to manually type the name of each point in. I am looking for a way to import the name at the same time I am importing the coordinates.

If you need, in this time ,looking for a way ,can you make

I can you not help

Sorry

They really need to fix that, I've had the same problem.

If you need to change your points, while keeping the names, use the update button rather than import.
