Importing GIS labels into AutoCAD

CAD gurus,

Does anybody know good methods to import GIS labels into cad? For instance, I have imported street centerlines from a GIS shapefile. I would like to bring in the labels also so that I don't have to manually label them.

Thanks in advance for your help!

AutoCAD Map can do this... Try MAPWSPACE and see if you hit gold.
