Hi everybody,

I am quite new to NASTRAN so apologies if this question is a little bit stupid.

I have created a flexible object in Nastran. This object is imported into MSC ADAMS and a simulation is run. Adams generates FEMDATA for post-processing in NASTRAN/PATRAN. I would like to import FEMDATA generated into NASTRAN. I know its possible but I can't seem to get it to work.

In the .f06 I get the following error:

{

CEND $ GENERATED BY GETLIN
*** USER INFORMATION MESSAGE 480 (XSEMIN)

*** USER WARNING MESSAGE 1153 (XCLNUP)
THE NDDL FOR THIS DATA BASE HAS NEITHER BEEN CREATED NOR OBTAINED FROM THE DELIVERY DATA BASE.
USER INFORMATION: THE DATA BASE CREATED IN THIS RUN IS TOO IMMATURE TO BE RESTARTED.
USER ACTION: DELETE THIS DATA BASE BEFORE STARTING YOUR NEXT RUN.

}

I have attached the loads_on_FLEX_BODY_LEFT.dat file that contains the FEMDATA and also the Nastran model file. If the run is successful a .xdb file should be generated

Any help would be appreciated
Kind regards
Philip
