Importing a JPEG

I am using ACAD2008LT, and am trying to bring in a jpg (or bmp, gif, etc.) into autocad to trace some artwork a customer has sent us.
I used to be able to do it in ACAD2000 just fine, but in 2008LT it comes in as an empty rectangle with the file name in it.
Is this something that has changed over the course of newer versions, or am I just an idiot who cant find the command line to turn on the graphics?

You can also do it that way:
1. Open your raster image in PAINT
2. CTRL+X
4. CTRL+V into your DWG

You can find this way through AutoCAD's help.

If you have a filename inside the frame, you also have the drive indicated in front of the file name which means that the .JPG file is missing at that drive, therefore you'll need to redirect the search to wherever the .JPG file is located by browsing and replacing the drive within the image manager dialog box.
